Yes, but the quantity of poon choi in summer is much less than in winter, so please ask three or four days in advance, for fear that the order quantity is too small to get enough ingredients in time. Please also remember that there is no dine-in service! 👍🏻
Shing Kee only have hot pot for dinner, 盆菜 is take away only and can order 2 days in advance
Cute environment, nice service and food!
This is a hearty eatery which not only serves us good food but also donated boxes of moon cake to the children charity I am working, and makes use of the waste like bottles and CDs to create lovely art pieces decorating the venue. The waiters and waitresses are helpful and nice, too. Definitely a good place to go.
Cozy bistro for noodles and hot pot. My favorite place to go to when I was in college. You can’t beat the price or the food.
Very good food.
Very friendly, excellent noodles, the menus even have some English to help foreigners out. Great decor as well, worth a visit!
Decorated by many old magazines, cassettes, books and so on. Tried to resemble the "Old Hong Kong" but too messy. Food is average.
This place has really good noodle that are not to soft or chewy. The soup was not bad either.
Brilliant environment with tasty food. You'll find a good taste of Hong Kong there
Great food, service, and price! For youngsters they give you a free yakult drink. A convenient place for people after cycling in Sha tin park. The store is unique, because it recycles some stuff to make the store look better. It's in a weird place but right next to a carpark. Great place!
The food is fresh and tasty, the staffs are also very nice. But it is quite expensive to such a hot pot dinner.
Great services and hotpot food
Wonderful hotpot with fresh meat and handmade dumplings🥟🍲🥓 There are lots of special choices for the soup base. Love the vibes and also the kind and friendly staff serving us💛
The wonton noodle is ok, not the best in Hong Kong. There is no air conditioning
The Big Bowl Combo has a lot of varieties and is very tasty. Best ever tried.
Good quality in reasonable price
Amazing noodles
Great food (hot pot) and great environment best place for you and a few friends to unwind after a hard day
Hot pot is so popular in winter time. Make sure you have reservation in advance. A little bit over priced but quality of food is great.
Very nicely decorated restaurant. Its like having dinner at a book store. Food was very fresh and cost is good value. Would recommend to try for Hotpot lovers.
The decoration and atmosphere in this place make it unique in Hong Kong, the noodles are OK, and the Hot Pot is great (only at night). Not a lot of veggie options, but they will find something for you.
Nice place for hotpot, staffs are friendly and efficient, decor is classic. You really should try their spicy soup, and hand-cut beef. However they accept cash only, if they also accept credit card, definitely will be 5 stars. If you drive to here, remember to claim the one free hours parking.
Little unique look noodle shop. Ok ish noodle.
Like the environment there and the place is clean...staff is attentive and nice...price is reasonable and the dish is quite big...they offer so many choices for the hotpot.... will visit again for sure ...it’s quite difficult to find there if first time to go....
Very famous hot pot in TAI WAI
Awesome Noodles, Owner also gives back to the local community.
Love the rustic character of the noodle shop. Food was good and the staff there were even better. Very warm and welcoming service.
You can refill rice unlimited and 梅菜肉餅飯 is the best.
Great place for hotpot, the decorations of this place is fascinating!!!
Friendly staff and great food
All round a great option to eat in Sha Tin, really lovely staff, great atmosphere, bit quirky. Cheap & tasty meals. A little hard to find, it's in the basement level, look for the signs for the cooked food centre. Not amongst the ground floor restaurants/cafes. Keep up the great work Shing Kee!
But the taste is salty
High quality of noodles, but little bit crowd in lunch time (12:00-14:00). It is inside the wet market, and there are lots of beautiful decorations!
Cool hipster/diy decors with books you could borrow to read whilst eating there. Hot pot isn’t bad here with good soup bases. Thoroughly enjoyed dining here especially because the staffs are pretty friendly here too.
Pretty good
A place with unique charisma. Good food fair price.
Such a Vintage decorative art gallery, and enjoy with a big sized wonton and beef noodles. Nice place for photo shoot!
A bit hard to find but cheap and delicious noodles
Excellent Foods and Services of Chinese Hotpot
One of a kind place!! A must go if u r in Shatin.
Very nice traditional noodle place redecorated, great tasting beef brisket+tripe rice noodles, tasty soup, nice service!

Yummy Cantonese wonton noddle
Amazing for a hot pot in the evening..only serve noodles for lunch
A local friend took us here. Love this place, well hidden away from touristy area. The beef broth is very good!
Best noodle soup! Pass by after visiting the temple if you are looking for authentic food.
Artistic and decoration which is used recycle goods. Decoration full of old Hong Kong style, such as clocks, books, albums etc. Good food with reasonable price. It's provide free noodles to community elders on the 1st Sunday morning of each month. It's a caring company.Morning and lunch time, it serves noodles and rice with cheap price. At night time, it's a hotpot restaurant. Supper delicious beef and oyster dumplings.
Very good quality hotpot, resonable price and a very special environment
Amicable staff and altruistic boss at this eatery. Despite its name, I often go for its steamed fish menu at lunch - they also serve other rice dishes, and if you're a student you might get a $7 discount.Do remember that lunch service may be suspended during the 1st and 15th of each lunar month, as well as other special traditional dates (e.g. winter solstice), as it will be serving the resident elderly on these days.
The food for hotpot are great! Shing Kee is more than a restaurant. It represents a spirit!
Great place for hot pot. Very friendly and helpful staff, tasty food and cozy atmosphere.
